Lab Socials

Our team consists of passionate researchers who work tirelessly to achieve our ultimate goal of finding a cure for Lymphomas.
Since this can be a demanding endeavor, we always make time for social outings where we can bond and recharge our batteries.
We believe that a happy team produces better results. These are some of our favorite pictures from recent events:

TFL Christmas Party (2023)

Lab members (and Leandro) at the annual TFL Christmas party. Our group shot a hilarious skit and put on an impromptu magic show, showing that our on-stage skills are second to none.

CLC Barbeque (2023)

Lab members at the annual CLC barbeque at Jericho Beach Park. We put down the lab coats for an afternoon, and enjoyed some fresh air, delicious treats, and a (mostly) lighthearted competition playing UNO.

Tour de Cure (2022)

Lab members (and Leandro) participated in the annual Tour de Cure fundraising event, organized by the BC Cancer Foundation. We cycled 100km and provided logistic support, to raise funds for lymphoma research, as part of the Blood, Sweat and Cures Team.

Escape Room (2022)

The original Lab Crew in our first outing, to an escape room. While we may not have won that time, we worked our investigative and collaboration skills (and enjoyed a nice meal and drinks afterwards).
